Creamy Fudge

Creamy Fudge… say no more!

Makes 54 Blocks


  • 1kg granulated sugar

  • 225ml water

  • 3 cans condensed milk

  • 150g butter

  • 45ml golden syrup

  • Pinch of salt

  • 5ml vanilla essence



  1. Dissolve the sugar in the water over a low heat.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring continuously until the fudge turns a ‘toffee’ colour and when a blob is dropped in cold water it forms a firm ball.

  3. Remove from the heat and beat with an electric beater until thick.

  4. Pour the mixture into a well greased foil lined baking tray.

  5. When almost set score the fudge into blocks, and allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces and serving.
